NSW Government's Small Business Advisory Service is the program that helps you access business advice and build practical skills.

You can get support to help you grow your skills and make confident business decisions at every stage of your journey, whether you are: 

• thinking about starting a small business

• already running one, or 

• planning for change.

• Free, expert advice from independent business advisors with experience running a small business.

• Workshops and webinars to help you build practical business skills.

• Networking opportunities to connect with and learn from other small business owners.

• Online resources and learning tools you can access at any time.

Who is eligible

You may be eligible for the Small Business Advisory program if you: 

• own or operate a small business, or 

• are thinking about starting a small business in NSW.

Eligible businesses can access:

• up to 4 hours of business advice in person, online or over the phone, each financial year

• help with a range of topics including business planning, marketing, finance, staffing, digital skills and artificial intelligence (AI)

• a self-serve booking system to manage your appointments.
